The MicroFIT program introduced by the Ontario Power Authority is a great way to help the environment while potentially providing you with a good return on your investment. Installed correctly, a solar power PV (PhotoVoltaic) panel system will collect light from the sun and convert, or more correctly "invert", that light energy into electricity. Under the MicroFIT program, you will be paid a guaranteed price over a 20-year term for all the electricity you produce and deliver to the province's electricity grid.
